About
I'm a full-stack software developer from Libreville, Gabon, with a BSc in Computer Science (Mercy College, New York) and an MSc in Software Engineering (Arizona State University). I build cross-platform products from the database to the UI: native Android with Jetpack Compose, web with React and Next.js, and cloud backends on Firebase and Cloudflare Workers. My recent work spans a private social-album app with a custom media pipeline (Pictotube), a diaspora super-app (Africonet), a social app for music, movies and series with a tested admin console (Spotitube), and an interactive coding-education platform I built from scratch (DevBlog). I work in English and French.

Experience
Started an interactive learning platform
Began DevBlog — a coding-education platform built from scratch in vanilla JavaScript, no framework by design. The core challenge from day one: running a learner's real code safely in the browser with no backend.
Laid the Android + backend foundation
Kicked off Spotitube with a layered data / domain / ui architecture — Hilt for dependency injection, Media3/ExoPlayer, Room, Retrofit, and Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage, FCM).
Shipped the site platform
Completed the DevBlog site — a PWA with offline support, an article renderer with table-of-contents and code highlighting, live search, bookmarks and SEO. Set up cross-origin isolation (COOP/COEP) so WebContainers could later run Node/Next in the browser.
Built the player, downloads and social layer
Shipped the streaming music player, offline downloads and local files, then the social features, playlists / likes and a discovery / recommendations feed.
Started a cross-platform social album app
Began Pictotube — a dark, private app where the unit is the album. The hard part: a memory-graph model tying photos and videos to an event, a place and the people in them, kept consistent across Android and web.
Custom cloud pipeline + on-device intelligence
Built a Cloudflare Worker + R2 media pipeline outside Firebase, added in-app CameraX capture, and integrated on-device ML Kit face detection — face data never leaves the phone.
Expanded to movies & series, and hardened it
Extended Spotitube beyond music to movies and series with a video experience, built a React + MUI admin console (TanStack Query, Recharts, PWA), and hardened the backend — tested Firestore security rules (Vitest), server-enforced user blocking and a full security review.
Started a modern diaspora super-app
Began Africonet — a professional + social super-app for the African diaspora — on the most modern stack of the set (Next.js 16, React 19, Tailwind 4). Web-first, with a mobile app planned.
Completed the interactive platform
Finished DevBlog's interactive layer — a Monaco editor, a runner-adapter architecture (iframe, Web Worker, sql.js, WebContainers, AST checks), XP / streaks / spaced-repetition and quizzes — and authored 322 of a planned 623 lessons.
Shipped-and-hardened, and still building
Spotitube reached v1.4.3 across ~920 commits — launch-ready, with CI discipline and a launch checklist — while Pictotube is in active development at ~284 commits, with dev/prod flavors, real OAuth and a post-launch 'focus spaces' architecture planned.
